At Summit Kennels your dog will have comfortable individualized accommodations and enriching activities to help make their stay an enjoyable one. The kennel and our daily activities are designed to accommodate dogs who have reactivity or aggression issues, dogs who are shy or timid, or who need a less stimulating environment than most other boarding kennels provide. I will work with you to make sure your dog’s needs are met and you will receive daily updates with pictures.

Care & Comfort

Indoor/outdoor kennel runs can be customized to meet your dog’s needs: a raised bed, extra bedding, area rugs, a crate from home, their favorite bed or toy, or whatever your dog needs to be comfy and cozy.

Dogs can go outside to their own private outdoor space during the day. Some dogs even prefer to sleep outside in the soft shavings.

The kennel is temperature-controlled with heat on cold days and air conditioning on hot days. Windows and open kennel doors bring in plenty of daylight and fresh air throughout the day.

Aromatherapy and jazz instrumentals add to a relaxed and calming environment.

Enrichment & Enjoyment

I give each dog one-on-one attention and individualized care. Each dog is taken on several walks each day with time to explore and sniff, play games, and exercise. If they like, they also get food toys, things to chew, belly rubs and snuggles.

I

Please note: I do NOT take dogs with separation anxiety or females in heat.

Boarding Fee

Overnight boarding is $100 per night for one dog. $150 per night for two dogs in the same run.

The boarding fee covers their kennel, walks and playtime, administering medication, snacks, daily grooming (light brushing, wiping feet, ear cleans, face cleans, overall body cleans with cleansing foam and wipes). If you would like to have your dog professionally groomed I will drop off and pick up free of charge (you pay the groomer’s fee).
